Where are the best destinations for ski holidays?
Andorra sits between France and Spain in the Pyrenees. Its two main resorts, Grandvalira and Vallnord, have runs for beginners through to experts. NH Andorra La Vella and NH Collection Andorra Palomé are both in Andorra la Vella, about 20 minutes from the slopes.
NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso is in northern Italy's Monte Rosa Ski Area, which connects three valleys across the Alps. The terrain ranges from gentle blues to steep off-piste sections.

Do Minor Hotels offer ski experiences for beginners?
Yes, the resorts near our hotels have beginner areas. Grandvalira's Canillo sector has gentle slopes and wide runs. Monte Rosa has nursery slopes in each of its three valleys. Thredbo and Perisher in Australia both run beginner programmes. All resorts have ski schools where you can book group or private lessons.
Do Minor Hotels offer snowboarding experiences for children?
Our hotels don't run their own ski schools, but all nearby resorts have children's programmes. Most accept kids from age 4 or 5 and teach both skiing and snowboarding. Contact the hotel to help arrange bookings at local ski schools.
Can I rent skis, snowboards and other equipment at Minor Hotels?
No, but rental shops are located at or near the ski resorts. Staff at the hotel can point you to the closest options and many can help arrange advance bookings so equipment is ready when you arrive.
