Just over two hours from Canberra Airport, Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort is your easy escape into the Snowy Mountains. Each property comes with an allocated parking space, with additional parking available in our overflow car park for extra vehicles.
Snow conditions can change quickly in winter. While Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort is outside Kosciuszko National Park and chains aren't legally required to reach us, you may still need them if snow falls at lower altitudes. If you're heading into the National Park, chains are mandatory in winter unless you're in a 4WD. For Thredbo, chains are strongly recommended during snowfalls. For updates, check Live Traffic or tune into local Jindabyne and Cooma radio stations.
