One of the most stunning buildings in Madrid, the NH Madrid Nacional is centrally located on the famous Paseo del Prado. We are part of the UNESCO World Heritage list and the ‘Landscape of Light’, a unique area of Madrid and home to three world-famous art museums, The Prado, Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza.
Designed by Modesto López Otero in 1920, the four-star NH Madrid Nacional was only the third hotel to be built in the city. Overlooking the Botanical Gardens and the Plaza de Atocha, you can enjoy spectacular views from the guest rooms.

NH Madrid Nacional contains 206 rooms with wooden floors and décor ranging from classic to contemporary. Many of the rooms have been refurbished, with some offering stunning views over the Plaza Atocha or the Botanical Gardens.
Choose from a Standard, Superior or Junior Suite with standard features including a flat-screen television, a Sleep Better mattress, rain-effect showers and complimentary Wi-Fi. Upgrade to a Superior room to enjoy extra touches such as Nespresso machines and bathrobes.

Train: C1 to Atocha Cercanías. It's a 34 minutes trip. If you are in the city for a few days buy a T-10, Multi-person card for 10 journeys, (€12,20). It works on the bus too.
Taxi: It's a 20-30 minutes trip and is around €30.
Aerobus shuttle: Drops off at Atocha, Cibeles (night) and O'Donell-Doctor Esquerdo to Airport T1,T2 and T4 and costs 5€.
Metro: Take Line 8 towards Nuevos Ministerios. Change to Line 10. In Tribunal change to Line 1 and get off at Atocha Station. These station is 2 minutes walking from the Hotel.

The elegant and sweeping staircase in the lobby of the NH Madrid Nacional creates the ideal entrance for a gathering, with the first floor available exclusively for meetings and events. With a capacity for up to 200 people in the theatre, whatever room combination you require, we can adapt to it.
Our 5 independent rooms can be used in different combinations, to provide the right space for your attendees. All rooms benefit from natural light and good ventilation, with stunning views of the Botanical Gardens. We also have 2 meeting rooms that can be set up as an office on the second floor, with a maximum capacity of 6 people.
