At Al Ruwaida, the craggy silhouette of Mount Alvaah rises sharply behind Al Faya Sharjah Retreat. Accessed via the Sharjah–Kalba Road, this five-room luxury outpost lies under 40 minutes’ drive from Sharjah’s airport, positioned precisely where the highway ends and the ancient red dunes begin.
FROM SHARJAH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
From Sharjah Airport, get on E88 / Al Dhaid Road until you reach E 611 / Emirates Road. Head towards Dubai / Jebel Ali / Abu Dhabi and take the exit onto the E102 / Sharjah-Kalba road in the direction of Siyouh / Eastern Region / Kalba. Take the exit for S149 towards Mahafiz/Bateyeh and then follow S153 through Mahafiz to reach Al Faya Retreat.
FROM DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Drive inland towards Al Khawaneej and Al Awir. Get on the E102 / Sharjah-Kalba Road and follow the same directions as above.
