The best way to explore Tenerife is by renting a car. You’ll be able to reach all the Tenerife attractions and find some truly hidden gems. There are also public buses available, which are affordable and perfect for short trips around the island.

Tenerife has two airports: Aeropuerto Tenerife Sur (TFS), which is the busiest and located near the main beaches of the south, and Aeropuerto de Tenerife Norte (TFN), which is less than 15 minutes away from the capital by car.

You can also take a ferry from another Canary Island or mainland Spain.
