With the building itself dating back to 1780, it has a rich history and has seen plenty of famous people walk through its doors, from composer Franz Liszt to a number of Dutch celebrities.

HOW TO ARRIVE
From the airport
Train: Departs every 15 minutes from Schiphol Airport to Utrecht Central Station. It cost 8,7 €.
Taxi: It's a 45 minute trip and is around 125€.
From the train station
From Utrecht Central Train Station: The bus station is right next door, and you can take bus lines 3, 4, 8, or 11. Any of these lines will all take you to the Janskerkhof stop, which is right next to the hotel. If you're light on luggage and prefer to walk, exit the station toward Catherijnesingel/Catherijnebann (streets), and then go north (left) a short distance to Vredenburg Street. Turn east (right) on Vredenburg and it is a straight shot to the hotel, although the name of the street will change to Lange Viestraat, then Vieburg, then Lange Jansstraat, and then Janskerkhof. Janskerkhof divides just before you reach the hotel, and you'll want to take the left-side split. NH Centre Utrecht is a little bit after the split on the right side of the road opposite the Nederlands Genootschap van Sint Jacob church.
