Nestled in a serene bay of the Gulf of Siam, Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort is expanding its collection of oceanfront dining venues with the opening of new Thai restaurant Thin Thai.
In addition to serving daily breakfast with a view and a la carte dinners, every Sunday night the new venue will offer a delectable “Taste of Siam” buffet treating travellers to course after course of creatures pulled fresh from the local waters and other Thai delights cooked with native spices and herbs.
Holidaymakers in search of gastronomic discoveries can look forward to authentic dishes marked by a natural abundance of coconut cream, chilli and rich spice blends centred on turmeric, galangal, garlic, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, with plenty of Malaysian and Javanese influences.
Alongside fiery appetisers, masterfully rendered wok dishes and traditional desserts, Thin Thai menu showcases such signature dishes as seabass in salt crust, blue swimmer crab in yellow curry, and Phuket braised pork belly with soy sauce and cinnamon.
