Oaks Oasis Resort recognised as one of Australia’s best family resorts in ‘Holidays with Kids 2016 Top 10’

It’s been a huge year for popular Sunshine Coast property Oaks Oasis Resort. The family-friendly holiday oasis strengthened its position as the ultimate destination for kids by unveiling a brand new Adventure Zone earlier in the year, and now it’s being named amongst Australia’s best family resorts by leading family travel publication Holidays with Kids Magazine.

Competing against an outstanding line up of Australia’s most popular resort properties for families, the votes have been counted and the results are in… Oaks Oasis Resort has made the Top 10 Family Resorts in Australia in the ‘4 Stars and under category’.

The coveted Readers’ Choice Awards encourage families to judge resorts against a comprehensive list of criteria based on their travel experiences, including facilities / activities for kids, childcare / babysitting services, standard of service, standard of comfort, value for money and overall experience.

Chief Operations Officer of Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Mr Mike Anderson, said it was testament to Oaks Oasis Resort’s contemporary, self-contained accommodation, myriad of kid and parent-friendly facilities, and superb Sunshine Coast location that it was ranked amongst the country’s best.

“To be recognised alongside so many incredible family-friendly resorts across Australia is a true honour and we are grateful to all of our guests who took the time to vote for Oaks Oasis Resort as their favourite holiday hot spot. Our mission at Oaks Oasis Resort is to create exceptional travel experiences for our guests, in particular families, and this award reaffirms our commitment,” said Mr Anderson.

Oaks Oasis Resort is home to a dedicated open-air Adventure Zone, complete with an 18-hole putt putt golf course, triple galaxy climbing frame with rock-climbing grips and obstacles, a giant Kangaroo Jumper pillow, and sandpit, as well as a multi-level Water Park featuring water slides, fountains, interactive splash zones, a cafe and shaded relaxation zones. The property also boasts tennis and beach volleyball courts, a lagoon pool, spa, children’s playground and expansive lakeside restaurant, Reflections Restaurant & Bar.

The lush, tropical oasis also features a selection of 174 refurbished, coastal-inspired guest rooms, ranging from hotel rooms to spacious, self-contained one, two and three bedroom apartments and villas with convenient kitchen and laundry facilities.
