Preserving beauty. Empowering individuals and communities. PER AQUUM’s vision to make a difference extends to every aspect of our brand. Just as we aim to leave a lasting impression on each of our guests as they immerse themselves in our destinations, we are passionate about making a positive impact on our communities and environments with empowering CSR in hotels & resorts that we offer..

In addition to support for Minor Hotel Group social and environmental projects, PER AQUUM creates and participates in a number of initiatives in the vicinity of our hotels.

Selected projects include:

Coral reef rehabilitation projects at PER AQUUM Huvafen Fushi and PER AQUUM Niyama. Since launching in 2007, our guests in collaboration with our resident marine biologists have planted thousands of corals in our house reefs, enriching the underwater habitats of the Maldives.

Kudahuvadhoo School

Resource support and educational outreach trips for a local Maldivian school.  Activities have included field trips to PER AQUUM Niyama including visits to its Explorers kids club and tours of the island.

Manta ID Programme

In cooperation with the IUCN and Maldivian government, PER AQUUM’s marine biologists and guests take part in valuable documentation work, photographing the unique fingerprint-like colouration patterns of individual mantas in the North Male Atoll.

Riding for the Disabled

In collaboration with RDAD, a non-profit organization launched by Her Highness Sheikha Hassa bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 1998, PER AQUUM Desert Palm hosts therapeutic horse riding workshops for children with disabilities.

PER AQUUM is passionately committed to extending its innovative business approach to sustainable practices and community outreach at each of its hotels and in its teams across the globe.
