Oaks Hotels & Resorts’ coastal resort property Oaks Cable Beach Sanctuary, located in Western Australia’s unique pearling town of Broome, has unveiled its modern makeover in time for the impending peak tourist season, as the leading hotelier forges ahead with its momentous refurbishment program across a selection of Australian hotels and resorts.

Costing an estimated $2.5 million, the transformation spanned six months and focused on the resort’s self-contained accommodation, with all studios, one and two bedroom apartments and three bedroom villas receiving significant upgrades to their interiors.

The refurbishment saw each guest room fitted out with plush king size beds to replace the existing queen beds, and the addition of contemporary kitchen splash backs, new linen, blinds and curtains, fresh paintwork, soft furnishings and subtle in-room luxuries. Oaks Cable Beach Sanctuary now also offers twin share accommodation options, well suited to Broome’s burgeoning tour group business.

All guest rooms now exude a modern, relaxed atmosphere that harmonize with the resort’s tropical surrounds and feature spacious kitchens with high-quality appliances, laundry facilities, expansive living and dining areas and private balconies and courtyards that overlook or spill out onto the lush resort gardens, providing guests with an even more superior level of comfort, convenience and style.

The accommodation makeover joins the already enhanced resort exterior and reception, which were completed over a year ago and feature timber accents and striking exposed beam ceilings, and is complemented by the resort’s lush, tropical-inspired gardens, sparkling lagoon and infinity pools, barbeque deck and onsite dining experience Cables Restaurant & Bar.

Oaks Hotels & Resorts’ Chief Operations Officer, Mr Mike Anderson, said Oaks Cable Beach Sanctuary’s refreshed accommodation would go a long way in securing new and repeat business with intrastate, interstate and international travellers visiting Broome.

"Broome remains one of Australia’s most unique holiday destinations, lending to its fascinating culture and reputation as the gateway to the famous Kimberley region, and we are delighted to offer visitors with a revitalised accommodation product on the coastal fringe of this tourist town.

"The response we have received from our guests following the unveiling of the refurbishment in January has been extremely positive, and we anticipate these upgrades will now render our resort an even more popular choice with travellers seeking spacious, self-contained accommodation in Broome."

Ideally located just a short walk from the white sands, turquoise waters and spectacular sunsets of Cable Beach, Oaks Cable Beach Sanctuary provides guests with endless opportunities to experience Broome’s star attractions and experiences, from beach camel rides to the naturally occurring Staircase to the Moon, Matso’s Brewery and Broome’s Town Centre.

To celebrate its modern new look, Oaks Cable Beach Sanctuary is offering special ‘Hot Rates & Cold Beer’ deals, starting from $109* per night (minimum two night stay) and including accommodation in a refurbished studio and two bottles of local beer on arrival.
